“Uplifting the Others” means celebrating and exploring the wonderful differences and similarities shared by diverse people all over the planet.

Living LUNA: Celebrating the Diversity of Our Minds!

You’re Autistic, ADHD, and/or Neurodivergent in other ways and want a space to discover yourself.
We celebrate you!

For those with neurodivergent traits, finding communities and professionals who are genuinely supportive can be a daunting task. It's not just about acceptance; it's about finding environments where your unique ways of thinking and experiencing the world are not just acknowledged but celebrated

Societal norms and misunderstandings often create barriers, still dominated by expectations aligned with neurotypical standards. This reality can lead to feelings of alienation, misunderstanding, and in some cases, may result in negative experiences or outright discrimination.

The challenge of finding truly welcoming and empathetic spaces can intensify the feelings of isolation and recognizing and celebrating one's neurodivergence more difficult.

Maybe you’re just realizing you’re neurodivergent and are looking for people who are open and validating instead of questioning and discrediting your inner experiences.

Maybe you may have known your neurodivergent identity for your whole life, but you still feel like masking is the only way to be accepted by others.

Whatever your story, we are here to support and celebrate your authentic, unmasked self!

Discover Yourself in a Space that Nurtures Authenticity

You Are Not Alone

Co-founded by an AuHDer and a survivor with C-PTSD, Living LUNA is built around being neurodiversity and trauma informed. Living LUNA feels that celebrating the unique strengths of our neurodivergence is empowering and life affirming. Most of our team is some flavor of Neuro Spicy (ADHD, Autistic, C-PTSD) along with many of our wonderfully diverse community members.

We understand how challenging it can be to drop some of the masks that kept us safe in the past or as a part of the broader world. We’re all still learning how to show up as ourselves!  Living LUNA’s mission is creating spaces where we can learn to reclaim our self-love and inner truth, together. We see neurodivergence as important in breaking humanity free from the one-size-fits-all approaches that are offered by society!

Advocate for Needs and Set Boundaries

We all experience fear, shame, and disappointment when our attempts to be ourselves are denied or torn down. This often leads to us making ourselves small to fit into the boxes we’re given. This leads to us hiding the sources of joy that light us up, or suppressing the way we’d normally express our feelings. Due to these expectations, we may have felt like too much or not enough. When these negative beliefs become installed into our self concept, we may feel unworthy of discovering or advocating for our needs if we feel like we don’t deserve to have them.

It can be immensely empowering to set up boundaries, but these boundaries can feel terrifying because of how others may react when we claim our “NO!” or “I don’t want to.” Others’ boundaries can feel like rejection for those of us who have attachment wounds from our own feelings being rejected by caregivers. No matter the reason we find boundaries challenging, it is okay to have these feelings. Most of us haven’t been taught how to experience our feelings and express them, which can lead to blow ups and meltdowns from shoving them away for so long.

Living LUNA is a space that champions self-advocacy and boundary-setting. And, no, we don’t expect anyone to be perfect. Together, we are cultivating an environment that allows cautious experimentation in how we show up and the ability to be transparent about the experience.

Resources and Accountability

Living LUNA represents a collective of service providers here to provide you with the best counseling, consulting, coaching, and guidance tailored to your specific goals and preferences. Since we’re all unique, we have resources specialized with your neurodivergent needs in mind.

Ikenna (ADHD & Autistic) created a virtual co-working and body doubling space on our Discord & Twitch. For $5 a month, people can join the live sessions in Discord, set goals, and communicate with our coaches. People in this group get to utilize online timers, share their wins and obstacles, and support each other on more challenging tasks.

If you want to listen to us discuss our Neurodivergence, here’s a playlist of Living LUNA’s podcast episodes where we do just that:

The very first episode of the Living LUNA podcast focuses on the founder’s experiences with neurodivergence.
